Dance Amor was founded by Oscar Castellanos, an accredited DanceSport Australia Coach with over a decade of experience in social Latin and ballroom dance. With a vision to create a dance studio where students not only learn to dance but also build confidence 💪 and express themselves freely, Dance Amor quickly became one of Adelaide’s most loved dance communities.

Oscar Castellanos is the CEO and founding director of Dance Amor, a leading dance studio in Adelaide. As an accredited DanceSport Australia Dance Coach with over 20 years of experience, Oscar specialises in social Latin and social ballroom dance. He has mastered over 16 dance styles and offers a range of classes, including salsa dance lessons and ballroom dance lessons for beginners. Oscar’s dedication to dance has earned him numerous statewide and national awards, and his passion for continuous learning drives him to stay up-to-date with the latest trends in the dance world.
Oscar has trained with renowned figures such as Eddie Torres, Fernando Sosa, and Carlos Aragon Del Carpio, and has recently expanded his expertise to include sensual modern Bachata, after working with Jorge Solohaga, a trifecta champion. His global training ensures that his students receive the best instruction in Latin dance and ballroom dance, from beginners to advanced. At Dance Amor, Oscar is committed to providing high-quality dance education, offering couples dance classes and easy Latin dance steps to help students enhance their skills and enjoy the art of dance.

Getty Le is the studio director at Dance Amor and Adelaide Wedding Dance, combining her passion for dance with extensive knowledge of styles like salsa, bachata, and waltz. Since beginning her dance journey in 2009, she has developed a teaching philosophy that understands the challenges faced by beginners.
Getty’s gentle and instructive approach empowers students to find their rhythm and build confidence in their Latin dance journey. She focuses on equipping them with essential dance skills—patterns, footwork, musicality, and body movements—enabling them to master their craft and express themselves confidently on the dance floor.
